Justin Upton moved to the Padres for 4 prospects in return.

While the teams themselves have yet to publicly announce this trade as official, just about every other source in the country has confirmed it as true. Justin Upton, and a played to be named later, will be playing for the San Diego Padres next season. They will be joining the new-look Padres outfield, which has also added Matt Kemp and Will Myers, most notably, this off-season. Not to mention, a just announced acquisition of David Ross, to add to the acquisitions of Derek Norris and Will Middlebrooks. While it seems apparent that the San Diego Padres are keyed in on competing immediately in the 2015 season, they at least appear to have a definitive plan of action during this off-season.  Read More

The Bravos have been less than exciting to watch the past few seasons. It sucks that really the most blood-pumping thing has been a wild card playoff game that resulted in one of the worst calls by an umpire I might ever see. I actually lost my “Chipper Knows” shirt on this call at the TED (go to 1:36 to see how the city of ATL felt about that).
